Lake Nelson Adventist Academy

Partnering with teachers, parents, students and God, Lake Nelson Adventist Academy (LNAA) strives to prepare students to reach their God-given potential and engage in service for Him. The annual Gospel Benefit Concert in February provides an opportunity for students to put their abilities and service into practice.

Lake Nelson Adventist Academy’s (LNAA) spiritual leaders desired to further expand their ministry to their students. What emerged from their discussions was the vision of a church plant on LNAA’s campus: the Academy church.

Gigi Darko wanted to do something different for her 40th birthday—something that would give back to the community. In 2019, Darko and 10 of her family members, including her Ghanaian-born husband and two daughters, flew to Ghana to share books and school supplies with children in need.

Earlier this year, Lake Nelson Adventist Academy (LNAA) had the honor of holding the annual induction ceremony for the National Honor Society (NHS). Twelve students were added to the LNAA chapter— nine from LNAA, two from Waldwick Adventist School and one from Vine Haven Adventist School.

Lake Nelson Adventist Academy (LNAA) ends every calendar year with one of its most important and meaningful events—the Christmas program. With every year, this ministry increases in importance and becomes more memorable.
