More than 300 young people from Hispanic churches across Ohio came together for the 2019 Hispanic Youth Camp earlier this year. Themed “El Viene Por Mi” (He is Coming for Me), they met at the Indian Trail Campground in New London.

A second mass shooting in less than a year has directly impacted the Columbia Union Conference territory. Among the nine killed in a nightclub in downtown Dayton, Ohio, early Sunday morning was Nicholas Cumer, 25, a trainer interning with Maple Tree Cancer Alliance, an organization that serves patients in several of Kettering Adventist HealthCare’s (KAHC) facilities.

Recently students and faculty from Ohio Conference's Spring Valley Academy (SVA)  gathered for a K–12 assembly to dedicate the kindergarten classroom in memory of Zelda Dunn, who taught at SVA from 1994–2011, and kindergarten aide Stephanee Oberer (affectionately known as “Mrs. O.”)

A record 95 couples from across the Ohio Conference recently met at Salt Fork State Park (Ohio) to celebrate the second annual Hispanic Marriage Retreat, titled “Families of Faith—Matrimonies in Victory.”
