Mountain View Conference

The State of West Virginia will officially turn over a supply and distribution warehouse in Belle, W.Va., an area heavily impacted by the recent floods, to Seventh-day Adventist disaster relief teams today.

Following last week's floods in West Virginia, in which 23 people were killed and thousands were left homeless, staff from Mountain View Conference’s Adventist Community Services (ACS) have been actively coordinating relief efforts. The team is working to organize a warehouse in Belle, W.Va, just south of Charleston, where victims will receive necessary items.

On the heels of its largest mega clinic to date held in Los Angeles, California, Your Best Pathway to Health is launching its first east coast clinic on July 13-15, with training to be held following the clinic. The clinic is being organized in Beckley, West Virginia, a smaller city that serves as the healthcare hub for nine surrounding counties.

Your Best Pathway to Health, a free clinic that provides medical, dental, vision care and support services including radiology, laboratory and pharmacy services, plus preventive medicine, is coming to Beckley, W.Va. Volunteers are still needed.
