Kimberly Bulgin, SVA choral music teacher, has been nominated for a Prayze Factor People’s Choice Award in the praise and worship, and rhythm and praise categories.
A summer camp program for about 100 children from low-income families is continuing on WAU’s campus through August 10, thanks to a successful collaboration between the university, the city of Takoma Park, Montgomery County and Educare.

Runners Raise $9,000 for Good Neighbor House at Kettering College Run

Kettering College recently donated $9,000 to the Good Neighbor House community center from funds raised during their annual Spring Into Health 5k race. More than 500 participants turned out this year to run for the good cause.
More than 120 fifth- through eighth-graders from Seventh-day Adventist schools across Ohio recently attended the 2014 Ohio Conference Elementary Musical Festival themed “Faith on Fire.”
