This summer Kettering College is launching a brand new initiative–International Medical Missionary or IMM. This program will make it possible for students to spend a summer or full year as a medical missionary to remote medical clinics in places such as Thailand, Africa, or South America.
Washington Adventist University (WAU) was recognized and congratulated by President of the United States Barack Obama for “the extraordinary and exemplary community service contributions of its students, faculty and staff in meeting critical community and national needs.” The university has been awarded a place on the President’s 2014 Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.<
Mount Vernon Academy (MVA) recently hosted the last alumni weekend to take place on their 122-year-old campus. Titled “122nd Year Homecoming,” the school packed the three-day program with traditional activities, which were marked with boisterous greetings of lifelong friends and more than a few tears that this chapter of their collective history was coming to a close.
At Kettering College’s recent 47th commencement, the physician assistant program graduated its 40th class. The college honored the 40th class Saturday, May 2 at 8 p.m. at the Dayton Convention Center.
