Spring break for many students around the country is full of catching up with friends, forgetting about schoolwork and focusing on themselves. However, for some Shenandoah Valley Academy (SVA) students, that isn’t the case.
Although faced with economic challenges, the Pennsylvania Conference team is committed to continuing to build a strong school system and provide quality Seventh-day Adventist education to children and teens.

This summer Kettering College is launching a brand new initiative–International Medical Missionary or IMM. This program will make it possible for students to spend a summer or full year as a medical missionary to remote medical clinics in places such as Thailand, Africa, or South America.
Washington Adventist University (WAU) was recognized and congratulated by President of the United States Barack Obama for “the extraordinary and exemplary community service contributions of its students, faculty and staff in meeting critical community and national needs.” The university has been awarded a place on the President’s 2014 Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.<
