Connecting Columbia Union Seventh-day Adventists

Led by the Allegheny West and Ohio conferences, members from the Akron (Ohio) Bethel church participated in the Bible Reading Challenge earlier this year, in which they read the entire Bible in just one month.
At the end of the 2021 summer camp season at Camp Mohaven in Danville, a total of 40 campers gave their lives to Christ through baptism. What’s more incredible is the story of how God led the summer camp ministry that usually averages about six to 10 baptisms per season.
So now when I pray, I pray with confidence that God will know what I am trying to say, and He will listen to me.
I do not need to fear when things are hard or when I feel lonely. I only need to trust that God is with me.
As my carnal nature is to worry all the time, this verse gave me great comfort, and I felt that God was helping me realize my need to depend on Him always.
Never underestimate the power of prayer and the love of our wonderful God who hears us before we call.
The tender pleading of the Father’s Spirit—wooing, entreating and drawing this wanderer to the Father’s heart of love—awakened my soul to return to God.
As we look back at March 2020, our hearts rejoice for how God has continued to bless ministry throughout the Ohio Conference territory.
Students from the Mansfield Seventh-day Adventist School have done it again! Participating virtually against 17 schools from across the country, the Mansfield Calves of Steel recently won the overall first place championship in the Adventist Robotics League.
When I read this verse, all my worries, stresses and anxieties are washed away. I feel like the words were written just for me. It reminds me that, even when I feel out of control, God’s got it.
