Ohio Conference

The Mansfield church recently held its traditional Women’s High Tea Party—an annual event that has become a cherished occasion for fellowship, inspiration and awareness. Organized by the Women’s Ministries Department, this year’s event brought together nearly 80 guests for an afternoon of elegance, reflection and encouragement.

With more than two decades of experience in youth camp ministry and operations, Russell Hallman has joined the Ohio Conference as the new camp ranger for Camp Mohaven in Danville.

In the Sonshine Card program, Spring Valley Academy students in grades K–6 create cards with messages of encouragement for community members going through a difficult time.

The Ohio Conference is pleased to announce that Esther Gordon, who has faithfully served as the administrative assistant for the Treasury Department, has transitioned into the role of Human Resources generalist.

There is a deep faithfulness and hope in sending teams to serve through preaching, health and construction. The goal is to share the Word of God and love of Jesus, but the greatest impact often happens in those who go.

A wave of spiritual renewal swept through the Lima church this summer as the church concluded its dynamic evangelistic series: Summer BLAST— Building Lives Around Solid Truth. The program drew hundreds from the local community and resulted in 44 baptisms and 10 additional individuals who joined the church through profession of faith.

The Ohio Conference has opened its new media studio, a hub for creating high-quality digital content to support its ministry and mission. Located at the conference headquarters in Dayton, the studio features three themed sets with fixed and mobile lighting for flexible production.
