Youth See Dreams Become Reality, Mountain View Conference, Jeremy Garlock, Boulevard church,

Shortly after Jeremy Garlock accepted the call to serve as Mountain View Conference’s (MVC) new youth director and pastor of the Boulevard church in Charleston, W.Va., he attended a meeting at the Columbia Union Conference. It was at this meeting that he discovered information about special funding opportunities allocated for youth-led outreach initiatives.

Churches and schools across the Columbia Union Conference are preparing to host Pentecost 2025 events this fall. Several churches started meetings this week, including Mountain View Conference's Boulevard church in Charleston, W.Va., and Pennsylvania Conference's Gettysburg church. 

Parkersburg Academy Cultivates Spiritual Atmosphere, Mountain View Conference, Pentacost 2025, Hispanic Ministries, Walter Cardenas

Through intentional effort and strategic planning, the staff at Parkersburg Academy (PA) in West Virginia has been dedicated to cultivating a more vibrant spiritual environment by introducing God and nurturing the relationship of each student with Jesus. It is noteworthy that 70 percent of PA's student body comes from families who are not affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Conference Serves Flooded Community, Mountain View Conference, Tony Garcia, Williamson church, Tug Fork River

Just one day after Valentine’s Day, the Tug Fork River in Mingo County, West Virginia, overflowed due to days of endless rain, and suddenly an entire community was underwater! The floodwaters quickly rose to a staggering 48.35 feet, leaving people trapped and stranded without heat, electricity and/or water, and with homes and businesses completely submerged.
