During this special year, we invite you to join us in spending more time reading the Bible, digging deeper for knowledge and understanding, and meditating on its precepts, promises and prophecies. We're created the following resources to help.
“We pray a special blessing on all these Bibles,” said Dave Weigley, Columbia Union president at the event. “As [the Bibles] go forth, may they be a wonderful light so many people might know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and prepare for the great, soon coming of Christ.”
There is certainly safety when we abide in the presence of God. Psalm 91 speaks of His protective love, and, for me, verse 14 encapsulates the promises of the chapter.
Dressed in very humble clothes, rather ragged, with a tanned complexion and a wrinkled face, the poor, old man approached all those who parked on the church’s street, offering to watch their cars for a few coins. I will never forget this kind, old man and the lesson he taught me.
