The Columbia Union is hosting a Religious Liberty Day at the Sligo church in Takoma Park, Md., September 27. David Trim, director of the world church’s Office of Archives, Statistics and Research, will speak at the first and second services.
This morning the Columbia Union Conference Executive Committee voted to donate $25,000 to the Cooper Adventist Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia, matching a General Conference donation. The union has maintained a relationship with Cooper for a number of years.
