Mark Finley Meets With Allegheny East, Chesapeake and Potomac Conference Pastors
Longtime evangelist Mark Finley recently met with pastors from the Allegheny East, Chesapeake and Potomac conferences at the Atholton church in Columbia, Md., for fellowship and prayer, and to offer training for the upcoming April evangelism initiative.
Frank Bondurant, vice president for Ministries Development at the Columbia Union, and conference representatives planned the event to help “create a spirit of unity between our pastors that will supersede territorial lines,” he says.
Finley says many people think traditional evangelism is irrelevant in today’s post-modern society, but shared research that found people are interested in prophecy. “People need the assurance that only prophecy can give them,” he adds.
Bondurant reports that the pastors left excited and hopes the meeting “will build bridges for future projects and set the tone for the future.”
