In this quinquennial report, Columbia Union Conference President Dave Weigley shares how the union's leadership team has worked to grow the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States through healthcare, education, evangelism, the development of new ministries and innovative initiatives.

Last weekend Seventh-day Adventist Church, education, healthcare and lay leaders gathered for the 2016 Leadership Summit at the Columbia Union Conference headquarters in Columbia, Md., to discuss the history and future of the church organizational structure.

Thirty-nine Pathfinder teams from across the Columbia Union Conference are busy studying the book of Exodus for the upcoming Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE) event March 19. The teams and their sponsors will gather at Allegheny East Conference’s (AEC) Shiloh church in Petersburg, Va., for an afternoon of Bible trivia.

More than 300 community members and elected officials gathered today to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Adventist HealthCare Washington Adventist Hospital in the White Oak area of Montgomery County Maryland.

Hamlet Canosa, vice president for Education at the Columbia Union Conference, today announced plans to retire in June after 24 years of service in this territory and a total of 44 for the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
