Year of the Bible

I read so many godly pleas for my soul to surrender to Him, and, in tears, I underlined them feverishly. I could feel Him calling me. But what happens when we don’t listen and respond?

This sacred responsibility inspires me to live boldly for Jesus and to not be ashamed of being a Seventh-day Adventist.

From this experience, I learned that I do not have to fear when taking a test, doing something new or when I feel alone.

In my occupation as a communicator, where I’m often required to publicly speak, I cannot help but look back and give credit to that verse—customized just for me. 

At night, we held baptisms and remodeled the interior of the church. At home, we hid our Bibles so the police wouldn’t find them. And God showed me that His promises are true. 

I relate this to a person’s life before they find Christ. They are always searching for something, knowing something in their lives is lacking or missing.
