The Columbia Union Conference team focused on fulfilling the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church by addressing six priorities voted by the Columbia Union Conference Executive Committee.
Seeking to inspire member participation in ministry through church planting, small groups and witnessing, Rubén Ramos, vice president for Multilingual Ministries, partnered with conference leaders to spearhead several initiatives.
In addition to his work supporting our evangelism and church planting initiatives, Frank Bondurant, vice president for Ministries Development, coordinated the 2019 Transformational Evangelism Conference.
In addition to creating our Year of the Bible devotional book, calendar and video devotional series, Celeste Ryan Blyden, vice president for Strategic Communication and Public Relations, and her team published the 116-page Communication Handbook.
During the past five years, Walter Carson’s team sought to educate and inspire church leaders and members on the importance of advocating for religious liberty, among other duties.
The Columbia Union Conference oversees ministries including Education, Information Technology Services, the Columbia Union Revolving Fund (CURF), General Counsel, Communication, Ministries Development and Multilingual Ministries.
