As Seventh-day Adventists, we are deeply troubled by the actions of those who stormed the U.S. Capitol this week, resulting in injury, destruction and loss of life. The founding principles of our country have always supported expression of differing views, in a civil manner, but never should it lead to what we witnessed on Wednesday.
