WGTS 91.9 Hosts TobyMac Album Release Party

WGTS 91.9 and TobyMac recently celebrated the release of his latest album, Life After Death, by having a party with local listeners and donors. Guests enjoyed TobyMac's commentary on his favorite new songs, which describe his recent journey through grief. The night concluded with a cornhole tournament where Toby, a tough competitor, battled the winner.

“What an honor to invite listeners and TobyMac together into the WGTS 91.9 studios to hear his story. And what a unique experience to hear him play a bit of songs from his new release and hear the stories behind the songs. Bringing listeners together with us and TobyMac was a real blessing for all,” says Kevin Krueger, WGTS 91.9 president and CEO.

Morning host Jerry Woods admits, “We love all our artists, but there’s a soft spot in our hearts for TobyMac. It was a privilege to be able to welcome him home.”
