Allegheny East Conference’s (AEC) Communication Department recently welcomed more than 90 attendees to its 11th annual Connection and Ministry Communication Conference (CAMCON) at its headquarters in Pine Forge, Pa. Centered on the theme “Elevate,” this year’s conference focused on helping communication and media teams strengthen their skills and expand their impact.

Seminars were designed to equip local church members with practical tools in areas such as conflict resolution, branding, visual communication, social media strategy, reel creation, photography and livestreaming. Featured presenters included Chariolett Johnson, DaVita Benson, Kelly Butler Coe, David Defoe, Avrey Anderson, Ruth Annan and Colin Sandy, each bringing valuable expertise and insight.

Friday afternoon, attendees participated in an off-site visit to the Pearl Exhibit Group in Pottstown, Pa., where they gained additional exposure to professional production and display solutions.

Throughout the weekend, participants enjoyed interactive experiences, such as a photo booth, professional headshots, daily giveaways and meaningful networking opportunities with fellow ministry leaders.

A highlight of the conference took place Saturday evening with the debut of the “Elevation Tank,” where 10 church media teams presented innovative ideas aimed at enhancing their local Communication and Media Ministries.
