Thousands of WGTS 91.9 listeners recently braved a rainy Friday afternoon to help the station launch its third annual “Summer Concert Series” in partnership with Tysons Corner Center in Virginia. 

It's been a big year for Washington Adventist University graduate Jidong Zhong.

WGTS 91.9 staff are helping the Washington, D.C., area celebrate the Washington Capitals Stanley Cup Championship.

Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, Md., was recently honored with the Best Value School Award for 2018 by the Best Value Colleges for the second year in a row. This recognition comes as a result of the institution's academic programs, student satisfaction, and affordability.

For the third year in a row, the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) has recognized and accredited WGTS 91.9 for upholding the highest financial standards.

The REACH Columbia Union Urban Evangelism School recently graduated its first class at the school’s new center on the campus of Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, Md.

“I was so moved and excited by what small thing we could do for these victims,” says Bethany Sheridan, a freshman social work student at Washington Adventist University.

Adventist students from several Columbia Union schools joined the National School Walkout for safety Wednesday. Many included prayer, short messages and moments of silence and called for Congress to address the crisis of repeated mass shottings in the U.S.
