Mt. Olivet members sort clothes for homeless individuals, as the church became a Code Blue winter station due to the freezing tempartures.

An artic blast moved through the U.S. this week, dropping temperatures below 0° with the wind chill factor. To help reduce hypothermia deaths in the midst of the freezing, cold weather, a local community partner Tawanda Green contacted Allegheny East Conference’s Mt. Olivet church in Camden, N.J.

At Allegheny East Conference's Pine Forge Academy, placing God at the center of operations is the overall objective for the 2018–19 school year. It is for this reason the Religion Department, in collaboration with the Pine Forge church, intentionally planned a powerful and impactful back-to-school revival, including keynote speaker and alumnus Garnett Adams.

One Sunday morning, members of the Southwest Philadelphia (Pa.) church converged on the K Laundromat in Southwest Philadelphia. They not only paid for 50 loads of laundry for surprised patrons, but assisted with washing and drying too—all as a part of their new laundry ministry, Loads of Love.
