Ten Hispanic churches in the Baltimore area gathered on Oct. 26 at the Baltimore Spanish Church for a Reach Baltimore 2025 rally, a joint evangelistic initiative led by the Chesapeake and Allegheny East conferences in partnership with It Is Written and the North American Division.
The evening featured music, prayer, and powerful messages from speakers, including Eddy Martinez, a visiting pastor and evangelist from Costa Rica. Other speakers included Ramon Escalante, Hispanic Ministries director for Allegheny East Conference; Orlando Rosales, Hispanic Ministries director for Chesapeake Conference; and John Rengifo, Chesapeake Conference Ministerial director, who all emphasized unity and commitment to mission.
In preparation for large-scale evangelistic meetings planned for October 2025, several community-focused activities are being planned for next year, including a biblical archaeology seminar and a free health clinic. It Is Written’s Robert Costa will speak for the Spanish-language meetings, while It Is Written speaker/director John Bradshaw and North American Division president G. Alexander Bryant will present for the English-language meetings.
