The town of Erie, Pa., recently became the stage for a powerful demonstration of God’s faithfulness during Life Conference 2025, part of North American Division’s Pentecost 2025 initiative. Themed “Freedom in Jesus,” the journey didn’t begin on the first night of the event, but months earlier on Zoom planning meetings.

The wind of Pentecost is sweeping powerfully through the Youth and Young Adult Ministries of the Allegheny West Conference (AWC), igniting revival, bold witness and spiritual transformation. Rooted in the promise of Acts 2:38–39, Pentecost 2025 has become more than a initiative; it’s a movement.

Four Chesapeake Conference churches in Salisbury, Md., recently partnered for a community outreach initiative called “El Amor Llegó” (“Love is Here”). Members from the Salisbury Spanish, Salisbury City Redención, Chesapeake Haitian and Beacon of Light churches gathered for bimonthly outreach efforts this spring to connect with their community in preparation for the Pentecost 2025 evangelistic meetings.

Columbia Union Conference members gathered  once again July 2 for our monthly dedicated time of prayer for Pentecost 2025. 

In 2024, Chesapeake Conference welcomed 647 new members through baptism or profession of faith, marking the highest annual total in the conference’s history. This number represents a 28 percent increase from 2023, bringing the conference’s total membership to more than 18,500.
