Pennsylvania Conference Treasurer Announces Retirement
By Tamyra Horst
After much thought and prayer, Pennsylvania Conference treasurer Rudolph “Mo” Pelley announced his retirement at the April 1 Executive Committee meeting. He has served the Seventh-day Adventist Church faithfully and with integrity for 49 years, spending the last 22 years in Pennsylvania. Pelley loved his job and the opportunities it offered.
“What we do is the most important job,” Pelley shared with office staff. “We have the privilege of sharing the message of Jesus Christ and salvation with others every day.”
Conference president Ray Hartwell reflects, “Over the years, Mo has been dedicated to the presentation of the gospel and the furthering of Christ's work through the Pennsylvania Conference, and we will miss his spirit of mission greatly.”
Pelley’s retirement is effective June 30.
