Pennsylvania Conference Needs You to Help Write Their Next Devotional Book
Story by Tamyra Horst
“Our family is reading it together before the school buses come.”
“It’s helped my husband and me to have worship together.”
“I gave a copy to my barber, who I’ve been talking to about God and faith for years.”
“I’ve never spent time with God on a daily basis—now I am!”
Testimonies continue to pour in about how God is using Pennsylvania Conference's 2025 Back to the Altar devotional. Families are gathering in worship. Couples are praying together. Members are sharing the book with friends, coworkers and neighbors who are seeking a deeper walk with God. People are connecting with the stories of others—members, pastors, teachers and students they’ve met at camp meeting, church events and across our conference family.
And they're doing it again!
Their next devotional book will be released in 2028, and they need you!
They invite Pennsylvania Conference members to share personal testimonies of how God has worked in their lives—stories of worship, prayer, surrender, courage, salvation, grace, being a part of the church family and living healthy lives—physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally.
If you want to encourage others to draw closer to Jesus and spend time with Him, visit paconference.org/devotional-book to learn how to submit your devotional thought. The deadline for submissions is June 30, 2026.
Let’s continue inspiring one another to come back to the altar—together.
