Mt. Zion Miracle Station Gifts School With Supplies

The Mt. Zion Miracle Station church (MZMSC) in Wilmington, Del., discovered an opportunity to bring joy to a local school during an unexpected time of year.

Under the leadership of Carlos McConico, MZMSC pastor, members planned ahead in 2025 to replenish much-needed school supplies in 2026 for the Stubbs Early Education Center—a school in its community. The school is located right in the neighborhood where Mt. Zion worships, making this outreach especially meaningful.

After connecting with Principal Andrea Collins-White to understand the school’s greatest needs, the church focused on supporting all six kindergarten classes. The young learners received fresh supplies, including colored pencils, tissues, crayons and construction paper.

“This ministry exemplifies the generous spirit of Mt. Zion’s members, who willingly share the blessings God has entrusted to them, as reminded in Luke 12:48: ‘For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more (KJV),’” shares Jackie Ruley, MZMSC Women’s Ministries director.

MZMSC was later invited back to the school to participate in its reading program.
