The Garden Experience

In an age of constant digital connection, finding genuine Christian relationships can be a challenge. To meet this need, the New Jersey Conference Young Adults Department hosted a “garden-themed” singles' event designed to cultivate meaningful connections in a fresh, faith-centered way based on the original garden on earth. 

The coordinators blended fun and purpose, incorporating interactive games, thought-provoking discussions, mocktails and even speed dating—all framed as tools for outreach and ministry. Their goal wasn’t simply matchmaking but fostering authentic Christian friendships that could grow beyond the event.

The gathering drew more than 75 attendees from across the tri-state area. The event was filled with laughter, heartfelt conversations and joyful fellowship. The overwhelming response left many participants asking when the next event would be.
