Adventist HealthCare Names New Chief Operating Officer

John Sackett, president of Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, since April 2013, has added the title of executive vice president and chief operating officer of Gaithersburg-based Adventist HealthCare to his current responsibilities.

As part of his new duties, Sackett will oversee Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland, Adventist Behavioral Health and Adventist Home Care Services to ensure each organization continues to provide exceptional care to its patients and expands services to the community. In addition, Sackett will serve as chair of the governing boards of the three organizations.
