Entities

There are eight conferences in the eight-state region of the Columbia Union. These conferences, which each have between 30 and 130 congregations, facilitate and strengthen the work of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in various states or regions of states. They employ pastors and teachers, manage elementary and secondary schools, and coordinate numerous community-based ministries, such as Adventist Community Services and youth summer camp programs.
