World Cup Fans Find Goal of Their Lives

The 2026 FIFA World Cup brought the world to North America, with New Jersey hosting eight matches, including the final. The New Jersey Conference seized this unique opportunity to use the language of soccer to ask a deeper question: “What is the ultimate goal of your life?”

Through NFC-enabled keychains that allow information transfer using short-range wireless technology, individuals could tap their phones to access “Find Your Life’s Goal,” featuring World Cup information and “7 Steps to Win More Than a Game,” connecting soccer with purpose, faith, identity and hope. Visitors could also connect with local churches, receive spiritual support and access multilingual Seventh-day Adventist resources at njcsda.org/goal.

Inspired by Acts 1:8 and Pablo Cisneros and the Evangelism Department, youth and adults distributed 50,000 keychains throughout communities and fan zones.
