Chris Araujo Moves From Columbia Union to North American Division ITS
Story by V. Michelle Bernard
After working in the Information Technology Services (ITS) Department at the Columbia Union Conference for 19 years, Chris Araujo has moved to the North American Division (NAD).
While at the union he managed the union network that includes several conferences and schools. “Araujo has provided impeccable service to many,” says Robert Chandler, director of ITS at the Columbia Union. “Over those years he was a tremendous support in growing, leading and supporting the information system infrastructure at Columbia Union and the conferences we serve. As he has been called to the NAD to serve with his talents at a higher level, we pray God’s blessings on him, that he may he be used there even greater than he was used here.”
Araujo, who was an associate director in the Columbia Union ITS department, is now an associate director at the NAD. Prior to serving at the union, Araujo was in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic and network administrator.
