Adventist HealthCare Helping Hearts Soar

Adventist HealthCare's commitment to heart health was more visible than ever earlier this year.

First, a new team member was introduced – Betty Beats! After votes were counted from employees and community members to determine the perfect name, the eye-catching Betty Beats accompanied heart health experts to locations throughout the Adventist HealthCare system talking with patients and visitors. Betty also starred in a social media awareness campaign throughout February.

Adventist HealthCare also continued its long-term relationship with radio station WGTS 91.9 during the month of February by having health experts share their insight on the weekly Health Minute segment and partnering to host a Sticker Stop event to provide heart health resources, CPR demonstrations and blood pressure screenings to 100 community members. To identify their risk factors, attendees were also invited to take Adventist HealthCare’s free and fast heart health risk assessment.

Additionally, Adventist HealthCare hosted a physician symposium event and invited a heart attack survivor on an “Adventist HealthCare & You” podcast to describe the exceptional care at Adventist HealthCare. To listen, visit AdventistHealthCare.com/Living-Well/Podcast.
