Michael Kruger Named CFO for Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center

Michael Kruger will join Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center as Chief Financial Officer effective April 1, 2025. Michael joins White Oak Medical Center from the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA), the global humanitarian arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Originally from South Africa, Michael brings more than 30 years of experience to this role with an extensive background in international senior management and leadership in the non-profit and private sectors. Michael joined ADRA in 2014 as vice president for finance and was appointed president in 2019. During this time, he provided leadership and guidance to ADRA’s humanitarian response in 120 countries, partnering with local communities, organizations and governments to create the capacity for lasting change. He worked closely with leaders worldwide to continue providing care and resources throughout the pandemic.
Prior to ADRA, Michael worked in the financial sector for 23 years and opened his own private practice in 2000, specializing in audit, financial and regulatory services as well as re-engineering distressed businesses. He has been a member of professional accounting and auditing organizations since 1993. He has served as a board advisor of Loma Linda University Medical Center and Loma Linda University Health as well as a board member of Andrews University.
In addition to deep experience in finance, Michael’s expertise in building consensus and sustaining a culture of excellence as well as his deep compassion for contributing to the health and social needs of individuals and families will further strengthen our work at White Oak Medical Center.
