Adventist Women Leaders (AWL) Launches Podcast
Story by Michele Joseph
Adventist Women Leaders (AWL) has launched a podcast and you can listen now!
On the podcast, called Flourish, women leaders share their perspective on how women, with their unique qualities, can inspire others and follow the purpose God has given us, says its creators. Plus, it is available as encouragement whether you are getting ready for work, have a moment's break or just need to be empowered through the Spirit of God. The podcast is produced by Natalia López-Thismón (pictured right), an assistant professor at Southern Adventist University's School of Journalism & Communication (Tenn.) and Natalie Boonstra, a junior public relations major (pictured left).
“This podcast provides another opportunity for us to connect and engage women leaders, give voice to our perspectives and realities, address issues we face, and inspire excellence and growth,” says Celeste Ryan Blyden, Columbia Union Conference vice president for Strategic Communication and Public Relations who co-founded and serves as director of AWL.
Episodes are released every other Monday, and cover topics such as self-care and mental health, Biblical womanhood, and how to have difficult conversations in the workplace.
