In late 2025, a mission team from the Mountain View Conference (MVC) and the Columbia Union Conference participated in an overseas medical and evangelistic outreach that left a lasting impact on both the community they served and the team members themselves.
After 37 years of dedicated service, Daryl Hevener stepped into part-time retirement, closing a remarkable chapter of commitment to the Potomac Conference that began in childhood. As a 5-yearold, whenever childcare was unavailable, he accompanied his mother to her job at the conference office, planting the seeds of a lifelong calling.
