A Place For Kids to Belong

Patrice Jenkins, a member of the Bethuel church in Dover, Del., who taught for more than 20 years in Seventh-day Adventist schools and is now a curriculum specialist, has released, A Place for Me: An Adventures of Miss Reese Story.

The book tells the story of Jordan, a child navigating a hard first day at a new school.

“I hope readers walk away understanding that belonging isn’t about how long you’ve been somewhere, it’s about being welcomed and valued,” says Jenkins. “God placed a purpose in every child, and they deserve to feel seen, especially in moments that feel new or overwhelming, a truth that reflects God’s own heart toward each of His children.”
