A Milestone Worth Celebrating

Every day, exceptional care is built through the moments that often go unseen. It is reflected in how our team greets a patient, listens to a concern, explains a procedure, supports a colleague, or follows through on a commitment. These moments shape experiences, build trust and define Adventist HealthCare as an organization.

That commitment has earned recognition through the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award process. We have been selected for a site visit in fall 2026, marking a significant milestone in our pursuit of performance excellence.

The Baldrige Award is widely regarded as the nation’s highest recognition for organizational excellence. Selection for a site visit follows a rigorous application and review process and indicates that an organization has demonstrated strong leadership, quality outcomes and a commitment to continuous improvement.

During the evaluation, a team of Baldrige examiners will conduct virtual and in-person assessments to better understand how we achieve results and deliver on our Mission. Examiners will review organizational practices, performance data and operational approaches to validate information submitted during the application process.

Advancing to the site-visit stage places Adventist HealthCare among a select group of organizations recognized for excellence and reflects the quality, discipline and compassion demonstrated by team members across our organization. It also underscores our commitment to innovation, continuous improvement and the belief in the infinite worth of every individual.

While this achievement is a moment to celebrate, it also reinforces the importance of maintaining the consistency and dedication that have brought us to this point. By remaining focused on quality, innovation and compassionate care, we continue to strengthen our ability to serve patients, families and communities while advancing whole-person healing.
