Kids Have ‘Courage 2 Stand’ at Adventuree

The 2026 New Jersey Conference Adventuree themed, “Courage 2 Stand,” was a tremendous blessing, drawing more than 1,800 attendees and 150 volunteers to Tranquility Camp. Centered on the story of Esther and Mordecai, the event encouraged Adventurers and families to develop courage and faith in God.

For the first time, the three sermons at the general session were presented as dramatic productions rather than traditional sermons, as the drama team brought Esther’s story to life in an engaging and memorable way. Interactive Sabbath stations further enriched the experience. Children learned about Purim while enjoying Hamantaschen cookies and noisemakers, creating encouragement cards for community outreach, making scented oils and spice sachets, participating in a royal banquet relay, building crowns while learning humility and writing decrees reflecting values they would like the world to follow.

One parent shared how meaningful it was to create a card after previously receiving one through Adventist Community Services. New Jersey Conference staff pray that they will continue to inspire children to love Jesus more as they eagerly anticipate the 2027 Adventuree, “Mission Possible: Power Up with the Holy Spirit.”
