Washington Adventist University Awards $980,000 in MusicFest Scholarships
Story by Visitor Staff
Seven academies and 160 students recently participated in Washington Adventist University’s MusicFest this year.
Brian Liu, MusicFest director and assistant professor of Music at the university, reports that they awarded 47 scholarships, totaling $980,000 to the following Columbia Union students (below).
"We see this as part of our mission of service to provide students an opportunity to make music at the highest level," says Liu. "Through lessons, masterclasses and rehearsals with our world-class faculty, students are challenged to achieve the highest level of musicianship. In addition, it also gives us a chance to show off our Music Department and university to these perspective students."
