North American Division (NAD) President G. Alexander Bryant met with Baltimore-area pastors from the Chesapeake and Allegheny East conferences on Sept. 3 at the NAD headquarters in Columbia, Md., to encourage and pray with them as part of the upcoming Reach Baltimore 2025 evangelistic initiative.

Reach Baltimore 2025 is a collaborative project led by the Chesapeake Conference, Allegheny East Conference, and It Is Written. The initiative seeks to share the hope of the three angels’ messages with the people of Baltimore through large-scale evangelistic efforts and community events.

Major activities begin later this month, including a free dental and medical clinic at Miracle City church in Baltimore (Sept. 25–28), a biblical archaeology seminar with Michael Hasel at Goucher College in Towson, Md., (Sept. 26–28), and the Revelation Today: Hope for Humanity evangelistic series at Goucher College (Oct. 3–Nov. 1), co-preached by Bryant and It Is Written President John Bradshaw. Two Spanish-language series will also be presented by Robert Costa of It Is Written. (Learn more at reachbaltimore.org.)

During his devotional message, Bryant (left) urged pastors to see Baltimore with Christ’s compassion. “Jesus loves the cities, and He loves Baltimore because that’s where the people are,” Bryant said.

Bryant underscored the need for every member to get involved, emphasizing that while the harvest is plentiful, there must be enough laborers willing to serve.

The pastors concluded their time together by praying for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the upcoming meetings and for God to move powerfully in Baltimore.
