Columbia Union Pathfinders Participate in 2024 North American Division Pathfinder Bible Experience

Last Sabbath, 23 Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE) teams from the Columbia Union Conference participated in the North American Division event in Greeley, Col. One of the teams joined the event online.

Participants were quizzed on the books of Joshua and Judges.

Sherilyn O’Ffill, the Columbia Union PBE coordinator, reports that of those teams, 19 placed first.

"Our Columbia Union Pathfinders did amazingly well, and they seemed to have a lot of fun too. There was a spirit of fun and celebration at this one. It was a little more upbeat than we sometimes have at division. Sometimes division is a really serious thing, but we had several of the questions that elicited cheer and laughter. This one was definitely a celebration."

O’Ffill also notes that with the Pathfinder camporee coming up this summer, travel costs were a concern for participating teams. She says at least four of the teams that traveled were not planning on attending the Colorado event until the Columbia Union pledged to give $2,000 to every team that placed first at the union-level event. 

Event leaders share that the Pathfinders will study Romans and 1 and 2 Corinthians next year.
