Ohio Conference Hosts Small Groups Festival

The Ohio Conference recently hosted their first small groups festival at the First Cleveland Spanish church in Cleveland. Between three and six groups attended from each of the district’s churches: First Cleveland Spanish, Ebenezer, Monte de Sion and Roca Eterna.

One small group grew so quickly that they had to be divided into two small groups. A third group formed Roca Eterna, the newest congregation in Cleveland.

More than 170 church members were involved in the festival, which sparked a renewed feeling of determination and focus to participate in fulfilling the church’s mission, say organizers. “The work of the Holy Spirit is evident in Cleveland. The small group concept is a reality in the Hispanic churches here,” says Simpson. “We pray that next year’s festival will bring greater success with even more church members involved in more small groups for the harvesting of souls for our Lord.”
