This past weekend, 30 teams representing 22 Pathfinder clubs from seven conferences participated in the Columbia Union Conference’s Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE). The Potomac Conference hosted this year’s event at the Beltsville (Md.) church.

During the church service, Paulo Macena, New Jersey Youth Ministries director, presented a sermon titled “Does it Have to be Everything?,” based on Matthew 22:37. Pathfinders and their parents enjoyed the day and the learning it represented. "What great joy it brought me to see children, their families and volunteers involved in learning the Word of God and the culmination and fellowship of that knowledge," says Dia Herman, parent of a Pathfinder from the Pennsylvania Conference's Wyoming Valley Falcons club.

Ray Hartwell, Pennsylvania Conference president, added, "This is a marvelous way for our young people to be encouraged to get deep into the word of God and then demonstrate their study.  And what dedication of the support staff who worked with all our young people and made sure that their PBE teams was able to come and participate in the Union PBE."
