Make Sure Your Church is Registered

FrankBonderant_09Once your church registers for the meetings, the meeting information is posted on hopeinprophecy.org, making it easier for community members to find out about your event. The deadline to register is March 6.

If your church hasn’t registered to host meetings, contact your pastor and tell them why it is important.

Plan now to Host a Community Easter Program

We’re asking each of our churches to host a community program on Easter. The evangelistic initiative starts right after Easter, giving churches a great opportunity to invite people. If they’re bold enough to visit an Adventist church once, and we give them a reason to come again, they will.

Create an Interest List

Create a contact list of people to invite to the meetings. Add family and friends and gather names of people who might be interested, including those who have attended other church events, or worked with you on community service projects. Give this list to your Personal Ministries leader or person in charge so the church can invite them to the meeting.

Start or revive Your Local Church Prayer Ministry

Start or revive your church’s prayer ministry, then pray over the names of the contacts collected. This prayer team can also pray during the meetings and at the upcoming prayer rallies at Miracle Temple in Baltimore, March 7, and at the Southern Asian church in Silver Spring, Md., March 21. We also encourage you to pray for the initiative in your private prayer time.

Contact Local Media

Contact the local media about your church’s Easter program and the meetings. Also, use social media to invite your friends and family to attend.
