Columbia Union to Sponsor Religious Liberty Day at Sligo Church

The Columbia Union is hosting a Religious Liberty Day at the Sligo church in Takoma Park, Md., September 27. David Trim, director of the world church’s Office of Archives, Statistics and Research, will speak at the first and second services. Karla Rivera Bucklew, a soprano vocalist, will present a mini-concert, at 2 p.m., followed by a presentation from Thomas Farr, director of the Religious Freedom Project at Georgetown University (D.C.), who will discuss American foreign policy and the plight of Christians in the world.
